The cookies Bazarche sets, what each one is for, and how to refuse the ones that are not strictly necessary.

What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the site can recognise the browser next time. Bazarche uses them to remember your basket, keep you signed in and understand how the shop is used. Some are set by us, some by the providers we rely on to take payment and measure traffic.
This policy sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains what we do with the information cookies help us collect.
The cookies we use

| Strictly necessary | Keeps the items in your basket, holds your session through checkout, remembers your delivery choice and protects forms against abuse. The shop cannot work without these, so they are always on and need no consent. |
| Preferences | Remembers choices you have made, such as dismissing the cookie banner, so you are not asked the same thing on every page. |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows us which products, searches and pages shoppers actually use, always in aggregate. Set only if you accept them. |
| Marketing | Measures whether an advert or email led to an order, and can be used to show you our products elsewhere. Set only if you accept them. |
Strictly necessary cookies generally last for the session or a few days. Analytics and marketing cookies last up to 13 months, after which we ask again.
Cookies set by other companies
Our payment provider sets cookies during checkout to process your payment and detect fraud; these are strictly necessary and are governed by that provider’s own policy. Where you have accepted analytics or marketing cookies, our analytics and advertising providers set cookies under their own policies too. We do not allow any of them to use what they collect on our shop for their own unrelated purposes.
Refusing or removing cookies
You can change your mind at any time. Refuse the analytics and marketing categories in our cookie banner, and nothing in those categories will be set.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies for any site. Look for cookies under Privacy in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout from working, so we do not recommend it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever the cookies we use change, and the date at the top tells you when that last happened. If you have a question about any cookie you have found on the shop, write to [email protected] and we will tell you what it does.
